Zoho, a leader in software as a service (SaaS), has joined the government’s Open Network for Digital Commerce as a technology service provider to help clients use ONDC to reach a wider audience.
According to a media release made on October 26, the company’s e-commerce platform, Zoho Commerce, would make it simple for sellers and current clients to launch online stores and connect to the open e-commerce network. The announcement follows the e-commerce platform Dukaan App’s statement that it is integrating with ONDC to create a level playing field for both small and large firms. According to sources, the government’s ambitious digital commerce program went live in Bengaluru in September and is scheduled to go live in Delhi in November.
