Super, a Meta app that resembles Cameo, will be retired on February 15, 2023, the company has said. The company’s goal when designing Super in 2020 was to imitate the meet-and-greet atmosphere of a physical convention like VidCon or Comic-Con.
Super won’t actually shut down until February, but users won’t be able to add new events during that period. The business advises users to reschedule any planned events they have scheduled on Super on another platform. Before the company’s website is formally shut down in February, users who hosted or attended a Super event can download their recorded video, according to Meta.
