Uber, a ride-hailing service, has an advertising division to connect customers with companies by playing video ads while the customer is riding.
The startup introduced “Uber Journey Ads,” a humorous method for companies to interact with their customers. Over 40 renowned companies have already collaborated to create Journey Ads. According to Grether, General Manager of Uber’s advertising division, “We have a global audience of valuable, purchase-minded consumers who tell us where they want to go and what they want to obtain as part of our core business.”
