According to a Quora official who texted TechCrunch, Poe, which stands for “Platform for Open Exploration,” is an invite-only iOS platform that is “intended to be a place where individuals can easily connect with a variety of different AI agents.” “We have learnt a lot about building consumer internet products during the previous 12 years of building and operating Quora. The representative added that we are particularly skilled at assisting those who are pursuing knowledge. We believe that a significant portion of what we have discovered is applicable to this novel field where people work with large language models.
