In a strategic fundraising round headed by life sciences investor Novo Holdings, genomics research startup MedGenome raised $50 million where Current investors LeapFrog Investments and Sofina also participated.
MedGenome is a genomics research and diagnostics company that offers a variety of goods, such as genetic testing and solutions for medication discovery. The business will use the funds to broaden its geographic reach beyond South Asia and into the Middle East and Africa. The money will also be used by MedGenome to broaden the scope of its oncology and reproductive diagnostic services as well as its product range. Additionally, it will raise its expenditures on bioinformatics and software as a service (SaaS).
