Zomato, an Indian foodtech company, is apparently preparing to reduce its overall employment by at least 4% soon.
In an effort to reduce expenses and turn a profit, Zomato started firing employees this week, according to Moneycontrol. Sources claim that at least 100 workers in sectors like product, technology, catalogue, and marketing have already been impacted. The announcement comes as the business has had a number of high-profile exits, and its share price has fallen sharply in 2022.
