Softbank-supported Ola Electric has fundamentally expanded delivery of its electric bikes in March with registrations increasing to 9,121 vehicles in March from only 3,904 units in February, as per auto retail sales data provided by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA).
With deliveries more than doubling, the organization turned into the second biggest electric bike dealer in March-just behind market pioneer Hero Electric.
The leap in delivery vehicles came following two months of getting teeth issues at the organization which saw its delivery missing the mark regarding declared production.
Ola Electric had sold only 1,102 units in January while the organization professed to have expanded production to 1,000 per day.
While co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal had said that, Ola electric bike deliveries are supposed to touch 15,000 in March which would have propelled the organization to turn into the No 1 electric bike organization in India in terms of sales.
