Ten million developers working on the Microsoft-owned code-hosting platform GitHub in India. The fact that the platform now has more than 100 million developers worldwide was also mentioned. In order to facilitate global developer collaboration on common codebases, GitHub has become the standard hosting site for millions of open-source and commercial software projects. India has surpassed the United States as GitHub’s second-largest market thanks to its rapid growth. It should be noted that the software development platform announced the establishment of its GitHub India Private Limited subsidiary in India in 2020 in an effort to draw more Indian developers and corporate customers.
