Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn is in talks with the Center about presenting its electric battery swapping framework in India, in spite of rising sales of electric vehicles in metropolitan regions.
As per Foxconn executives, they met with government authorities around fourteen days prior and communicated their interest in entering the market either with Taiwanese battery refueling stage Gogoro or separately. Foxconn, which procured $219 billion in revenue last year, distinguished electric vehicles as one of six development verticals, alongside artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and advanced communication, that would drive its next period of development in advanced supply chains in its 2021 yearly report.
