Extended reality and software startup Ajnalens has raised ₹12 crore from financial backers LetsVenture, JITO Angel Network and other private supporters, in one more round of Pre-Series A funding.
Mumbai-based AjnaLens has petitioned for in excess of 15 public and global licenses in increased reality and partnered fields. As per the startup, its clients incorporate the Indian Army, Indian Navy, DRDO, Ministry of Defense, President of India, Vedanta, L&T, Cymax Infotainment, Forster Consulting, Tata Technologies, PM Experts, VR Coating, Maharashtra State Innovation Society among others.
Established in November 2014 by Abhishek Tomar, Pankaj Raut and Abhijit Patil, AjnaLens use advancements like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) to offer blended reality equipment, utilized by clients working in the area of defence and education. It additionally offers these glasses as a tech venture item also.
JITO Angel Network’s vice chairman Sunil Kumar Singhvi said, “Just a few years back, start-up companies were lagging far behind in competing with established defence companies. Thanks to the startup revolution, the Indian defence system is booming with a range of defence startups.”
AjnaLens said it has created basic answers for security and defence space and fostered a few native advances, including the iDex challenges, added Singhvi.
