Edtech startup BrightCHAMPS acquired live-learning platform for kids, Schola

In a $15 million cash and equity agreement, edtech startup BrightCHAMPS purchased Singapore’s Schola, a live learning platform for children. After purchasing another edtech startup, Education10x, in February 2022, this was the edtech unicorn’s second purchase. Schola is a platform that offers a range of courses in a live, one-on-one class setting for kids between the ages of 4 and 15. One of the available courses is public speaking, while another is communication. First-generation English speakers are another area of emphasis for Schola, which provides them with practical speaking practise. As of right now, the startup can be found in 12 nations, including Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and Malaysia.
