To allow users to purchase concert tickets straight from its platform, Spotify has launched a new website. The company’s new website does list upcoming concerts and allows users to purchase tickets using a debit or credit card, but they must have a Spotify account to do so.
Chris Messina was the first to mention that the website was open to the public earlier today, despite the company not having formally announced the launch of its ticketing platform. Events that can be reserved are displayed on the website’s home page, and users can check their past and future ticket purchases in the My Events section. Now, future events in the US by musicians including Limbeck, Crow, Annie DiRusso, Four Years Strong, and TOKiMONSTA are listed on the Spotify Tickets website.
