NIPL signed an MoU with PayXpert for the acceptance of payment solutions in UK

On Thursday, August 18, NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), a fully-owned subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), inked an MoU with PayXpert to allow payment solutions to be accepted in the United Kingdom.

All of PayXpert’s Android point-of-sale (POS) machines in the UK will be able to accept in-store payments using Indian payment options thanks to the agreement. Through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), PayXpert would take QR code payments and eventually integrate RuPay card payments. The breakthrough comes in response to the Indian government’s efforts to make it easier for people in other nations to use UPI and RuPay cards. The NPCI was in discussions about this with 30 countries last month, according to Rajkumar Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs, who told Parliament about it.
