Another incident involving Radha-Krishna has surfaced on Amazon India, this time with a seller from Bengaluru who sold an offensive image of the couple on the e-commerce site on the occasion of Janamashtmi.
In Bengaluru, a complaint was made against the merchant and the international retailer by the Hindu Janajagruthi Samithi. The image, marketed as an “INKOLOGIE Hindu Gods Fine Arts painting,” allegedly offended the religious sensibilities of the nation’s hundreds of millions of Hindus, according to the lawsuit. The poster was also available for purchase on Exotic India Art, another online store.
