WhatsApp introduced a new feature called ‘Accidental delete’

A new tool dubbed “Accidental delete” has been added to WhatsApp that enables users to double-check their actions, such as erasing a message they accidentally sent to someone. The user has five minutes to alter their actions.

The accidental delete option gives users a five-second window to undo the message deletion, after which they can select “Delete for Everyone.” If users accidentally select “Delete for me” when they meant to select “Delete for everyone,” this feature gives them a brief window of time to quickly undo a deleted message. The Accidental Delete option is accessible to all Android and iOS users.
