In a Pre-Series A round of fundraising headed by Foundamental and Axilor with participation from Arali Ventures and Force Ventures, Prolance, a SaaS firm for interior design, raised $2 Mn (INR 16 Cr).
Prolance plans to use the extra money to enhance its geographic reach across all of India and diversify its product offerings.
“Prolance is trying to automate the fragmented and highly complicated $60 Bn Indian interior design business,” stated Nandan Venkatachalam, principal and B2B Lead at Axilor. A distinct advantage on product, distribution, and value addition to customers via its cloud manufacturing platform is provided by the team’s extensive experience in the field.
Prolance’s original founders have substantial backgrounds in interior design. Prior to Prolance, Parasuram and Harinath K co-founded HomeLane. Parasuram and Harinath K, respectively, co-founded MyHomeSpeaks and Bello Interiors. DeltaCADD solutions was founded at the same time by Gururajan, Sathyanarayana, and Manoj K.
Harinath K said. “Prolance started with the mission to transform the interior design industry through technology, and our goal is to become the operating system for the Interior industry. Our growth in the last two years, along with near-universal appreciation from our clients is a testament to the strengths of our SaaS-based marketplace for interior design professionals,”. Prolance claims that it has worked with well-known interior design firms as NoBroker, SquareYards, Landmark, Godrej Interior, and SquareYards. Additionally, it stated that over 1000 smaller interior companies presently use its platform.
