Reliance Retail saw 2.5X increase in the number of orders delivered  in FY22

During the fiscal year 2021–2022 (FY22), Reliance Retail, the retail division of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), saw a 2.5X growth in the number of orders delivered through its digital commerce platforms, bringing the daily total to about 6 lakh orders.

Additionally, RIL said at its annual general meeting that the digital platforms saw 4.5 billion visitors in the previous year, an increase of 2.3X year over year. Isha Ambani, executive director of Reliance Retail Ventures, said that in terms of retail, the business invested in partnerships and acquisitions throughout the year in order to enter new categories, improve its service capabilities, and broaden its reach into new markets.

“We have accelerated our New Commerce initiative, which is driven by an inclusive spirit.” “We have grown our merchant partner base to over 20 lakh partners since our launch two years ago,” Ambani said.
