Online furniture market Pepperfry has purchased the startup Brandmakerr for an undisclosed sum. Rahul Kapuria, the founder of Brandmakerr, has been appointed as Pepperfry’s vice president as part of the arrangement. Kapuria will work from Pepperfry’s Mumbai office, where he will be in charge of turnkey solutions, civil and interior design, and commercial interior design. As a result of this acquisition, Pepperfry will work on commercial interior design projects for the retail, banking, and HORECA sectors. Projects from Brandmakerr have also been moved to Pepperfry, where they will be overseen by the online furniture market. Through the recently acquired company, Pepperfry plans to work with significant players in the retail, food and beverage, airport, and banking industries.
