The cab-leasing division of Ola, Ola Fleet Technologies, announced that it would sell 5,000 vehicles to Dbest Cars India for more than INR 125 Cr.
Gulshan Rao, director at Ola, claims that the sale of used business vehicles is wholly different from the sale of used passenger automobiles (white plate). He stated there are a number of guidelines that need to be strictly followed in relation to the sale and acquisition of used commercial vehicles. Dbest Cars is an online marketplace where used cars are bought and sold. It can be used as a platform by small used car dealers in India to access and buy previously owned commercial vehicles. It plans to start operating in 15 states by 2025, of which it is now present in eight.
