In October 2022, Ola Electric reported selling 20,000 of its electric scooters. The business, which offers the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, claimed great holiday season sales.
According to a corporate statement, it had a successful holiday season with a 4x increase over its daily run rate during Navratras and a 10x rise on Vijayadashami. Ola Electric generates 1,000 units daily on average. The whole two-wheeler EV market has expanded by just about 30%, compared to Ola’s growth of over 60% month over month. The company started the online ordering procedure in September 2021 after opening reservations for its electric scooters S1 Pro and S1 at Rs 499 in July of last year. It was originally intended to start delivery in October, but this was postponed to November and then to the second half of December.
