Jio enters Short-Video market to compete with Meta’s Reels

To commemorate its entry into the short video market, Jio Platforms, which is supported by Reliance, has partnered with the music and pop culture publication Rolling Stone India and the ad firm Creativeland Asia. The short video app Platform will take advantage of the growing creator economy and operate similarly to similar services provided by Facebook, Instagram, and in-house Josh work. By January 2023, the platform for quick videos should be fully functioning. It will also work with famous people like artists, actresses, singers, and other creators to promote the new platform. One study estimates that the market for short-form video apps in India might reach a value of $12 to $19 billion by 2030.
