Gujarat Introduces a Drone Policy and plans to add 25,000 jobs

In order to open up new opportunities in the industry, the Gujarati government introduced the “Drone Promotion and Usage Policy” for the state. According to the regulation, in order to use a drone, its creators, users, and pilots must register on the Digital Sky platform, get a unique identification number from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and designate a demarcation area. For a period of five years, the state government has issued a policy that would permit the use of drones by various departments to meet a variety of purposes. The Gujarati government has asked that several PSUs, government agencies, and other organisations create plans within the next six months to promote the usage of drones in their respective regions.
