Through this methodology, it seeks to develop synergies and expand direct-to-consumer businesses. To do this, they plan to leverage a supply chain, a shared technological platform, and customer relationship management.
The approach is a component of the FMCG company’s bigger expansion into new segments plan, which places a stronger emphasis on the online market. To avoid upsetting its established business, it wants to develop its entire operations more quickly. In the D2C market, Marico has recently been on an acquisition binge. It bought various brands, such as True Elements, Beardo, and Just Herbs. The FMCG company has disclosed plans to invest in more brands in order to diversify into new categories.
