Oben Electric, a startup in electric transportation, raised $4 million in Pre-Series A funding, which was led by US India EV Angels LLC and included participation from Dholakia Ventures and current backer We Founder Circle. The business will use the funds to fulfil current orders, boost manufacturing, and broaden its distribution network. For its first electric motorcycle, RORR, which is comparable to a 150cc ICE motorcycle, the business claims a sizable order book from both India and overseas markets. In the first quarter of 2023, deliveries are expected to start.
