$50 million was raised by Symbolic Capital for the Web3 founders’ venture capital fund (and from Web3 enthusiasts such as crypto exchanges, family offices and institutions).
Startups focusing on consumer-facing dApps, such as those using blockchain networks, smart contracts, NFT exchanges, metaverse, etc., are something Symbolic Capital plans to invest in. By monitoring GitHub contributions, social media traction, and token performance, among other things, Symbolic Capital will use a data platform to manage the firms it has invested in and steer the company’s next checks. This will allow the company to make data-rich investments.
