Private equity firm BPEA Credit, located in Hong Kong, provided finance of INR 550 crore to coworking space WeWork India.
WeWork India is largely a partnership between WeWork International and Embassy Group, a major player in the real estate industry. WeWork India would reportedly utilise the capital to consolidate and develop commercial prospects, according to a PTI report. Twenty months ago, WeWork India secured 200 Cr in debt and equity capital from two unidentified investors.
