An online marketplace for wastes and biofuels called Buyofuel raised more than $1.4 million in a pre-Series A headed by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from Venture Catalysts, LetsVenture, Lead Angels Fund, and Gruhas Proptech.
The startup offers reasonable prices for garbage and biofuels and has the broadest supply base of customers and suppliers of quality-assured biofuels. The money will go into developing product offerings, technology, and geographic service expansion. The startup claims to have the biggest consumer and supply base for biofuels. Buyer-base with a monthly purchasing capacity of over 6,00,000 metric tonnes and a monthly selling capability of over 2,00,000 metric tonnes.
