Twitter CEO Elon Musk sent out an urgent message to the company’s staff a day after hundreds of Twitter employees announced their resignations: “Anyone who writes software, please report to the 10th floor at 2 p.m. today.” Musk sent an email to software engineers requesting that they go to San Francisco and visit the Twitter office in person. Only individuals who are physically unable to travel to the Bay Area or have family emergencies would be spared from attending, Musk reportedly said, according to Bloomberg. The engineers were asked to provide up to 10 screenshots of the most crucial lines of code in addition to a bullet-point explanation of their coding achievements from the previous six months. The meetings, according to Musk, will be brief so that he can “learn the Twitter tech stack.”
